I think it depends on the person. I’ve always dated someone older than me and I’ve never really searched for it. It just happens and why should I stop seeing a person I like just because of the age? I’m with someone ten years older and I sometimes forget that we have this age gap.

Yeah, I agree with with some of what you’re saying with the story but to me she wasn’t searching to see this couple but became more in curiosity. I think anyone who lives in a major city will run into seeing your neighbors and most the time everyone stops and stares not thinking about it.

I like Rogers Park but it’s just such a distance to get to. My friends live there now and they never venture out. You become stuck in a little bubble living in Rogers Park, Bridgeport, Hyde Park. I do like visiting them when I can but I wouldn’t want to live there permanently since I don’t have a car.
