That seems like it could have been a great addition to hardcore mode, in addition to food/water/sleep. If only they’d brought it back.

This is a good way to handle it, and I might start doing that. I agree with Patricia in that not fast traveling makes everyone better and would be hugely immersive, but I also don’t have that kind of time!
Yeah. Most console centric gamers don’t even care bout that sadly. Fact that the PC version is running twice, and at times 3 times better than it’s console brethren puts it “miles in front” imo. People really underestimate what 60FPS brings to the over all presentation, and graphical fidelity of these games. Static…
A good friend of mine makes superhero videos online (I won’t say who he is but you’ve probably seen his videos). When I crashed his place for E3 back in 2011, his dad told me about a time when they were shooting a scene (with a stuntman in full batsuit) and accidentally got the cops called on them, with a helicopter.
Limit reached, descending into madness/potential pooping in pants territory.
The mod I would love to have is Quick save / Quick load.
I agree with all of that. I loved the Witcher but going through it now a second time it’s especially glaring how much of my time is spent running and waiting and fast travelling. I would much rather have something smaller but dense with places to explore.
Oh just wait until they come out with their GOTY copy.
I’ll probably buy it in a few years when I can get it for like, 2$ or something. It’s not worth the contribution to them for their lack of interest in releasing a working game.
Get it on sale later down the road. Its a good game but the story is the weakest in the series and its ultimately a disappointment. Many of the plot twists are predictable and the ending is weak. Its worth playing to finish out the series but as far as the 4 games go, this is actually my least favorite.
What is “Gotta get those emeralds”
Ok. That makes sense. For whatever reason my brain refused to process how it could work.
Best Final Fantasy game bar none. Doesn’t even matter the version.
Glad to read its seems less of a horror game than the trailer makes it. Not that I dislike horror, quite the opposite. But horror in mental hospitals has been done so many times before. Overall I find it intresting to try tell history with games. However its easy to look at this game like “oh its one of those” walking…
Not sure I could love this comrade more.
Thank you very much - I’ll try to crystallize those questions into one anecdote. I wanted the player to dance. To pin them with a spotlight, and show that FPS movements, regarded from above, are balletic. So I went to Emily Ridgway, who was in sound there at the time, and said - I needed something that would evoke…
The only part I don't like is that they're playing it up like it's PAX's fault. It's not up to PAX to provide extra security in this situation. They have their security in place already. If Giant Spacekat doesn't think that's enough, then that's their decision to make, but don't pretend PAX has some obligation to…
During the Q&A portion of Ubisoft's earnings call today, CEO Yves Guillemot touched on Assassin's Creed Unity's disas…
Before all of the insanity of the comment section saying how shitty this game was, I would like to say that I enjoyed this. It wasn't amazing in any aspect, but I had fun and that's what is important in a video game.
