I picked up Destiny despite the lackluster reception mostly because I was a big fan of their work on Halo. I've not been disappointed, really. I was never big into the Halo mutliplayer stuff to begin with (mostly no good at it to be quite honest) but I'm really digging the Crucible.

This, definitely. On top of the contractual obligations that EA must have to follow with league/legal things such as this, I think it's great on them continually reflect the changes in the league. I've been playing Madden since the early aughts and have loved that level of immersion they continue to include.
