I worked at a large urban public library that didn’t have porn filters on its public computers. The librarians (who didn’t have to supervise the computer area, ever) thought it would be an “invasion of privacy” to regulate the use of those computers in any way.

I was having issues with Messenger devouring my mobile data, switched to messenger lite and I’ve never gone back (so much easier to use and way less processor heavy!)
