So we’re all just going to keep pretending that Jada Pinkett-Smith doesn’t front a shitty nu-metal band? Fine, live in your world of lies.

I remember when it was first announced as a project, and it seemed like a lot of the early motivation for giving it a “darker” tone came from the hugely positive reception of the unofficial Power/Rangers short film that came out in 2015. It got a lot of press at the time, because it was the rare fanfilm to have been

Ah, the good ol’ days of The AV Club, when every Ratner story would feature that pic. Rarely is a person’s essence captured so completely in an image.

The Empire Strikes Back rates as, by far, the best installment in the original Star Wars trilogy franchise.

A sense of dread hung over The Force Awakens as moviegoers sat through it in theaters because everyone knew someone major was going to die.

My Hot Take:

As as been stated several times already, the lack of “The Luck of the Fryrish” is criminal.
I’d also like to submit “Mars University”, “Time Keeps on Slippin’”, “Parasites Lost”, “Anthology of Interest II”, “Future Stock”, “The Late Philip J. Fry” and “The Prisoner of Benda”.

Add me to the list of commentors complaining about the egregious absence of “The Crow”. In fact, “The Crow”, “The Crow: City of Angels” and “The Crow: Salvation” all have great rock soundtracks.
