Given how little the MCU and MTVU interact I really wish they would just explicitly break from each other. Neither benefits from the association.

I think we are all just hoping that Iron Fist disintergrates.

And be the bullies! Since they certainly don’t experience any bullying at all anymore. Ignore, of course, the actual data about LGBT suicide and self-harm rates. It’s a fundamental misunderstanding of what Heathers as a satire in the 80s was about.

The Paramount network is the new name for Spike TV, so this sounding terrible and offensive makes more sense than you would think

They nailed it with Thanos, and I feel a bit sheepish for having doubted Marvel, but I just didn’t want another Ronan or Malekith.

I’m a sucker for corporate mergers when the two companies are genuinely in love. Call me a romantic.

Check’s in the mail.

Arguably:
- Hot Tub Time Machine’s high point is its trailer (the movie version is less wonderful) where it zooms in on Craig Robinson saying “It must be some kind of... Hot Tub Time Machine” and he looks at the camera. It’s what made everyone give that crazy Hot Tub Time Machine a chance

To me it came across as pretty tone deaf given the context. Yes, black people don’t have to be democrats, but to provide like no context or additional thoughts is pretty foolish and simplistic in this day and age (and also why Twitter suuuuucks for any sort of clear communication). Given what was happening with Kanye

They don’t have to be democrats, but they really shouldn’t be republicans.

Beyond did steer the series back in the right direction. The reason Wrath of Khan and Undiscovered Country are considered two of the best Trek movies is because it knew how to split the difference between the cerebral and actiony goodness that the best Trek always is.

It’s not your fault girls don’t like you.

“too many characters” being “recognized as good” is pretty dumb and the fact that a bunch of people favorited that is pretty dumb, too. characters and scope are tools a writer or filmmaker uses, and in the best examples of the kind of breadth shown here - Seven Samurai, Boogie Nights, the films of Robert Altman, heck

So trivial as having personal emotional stakes other than “If you don’t, we’ll all die”? Trivial as “the action scenes are kind of numbing and blah with just too much CGI”? Your comment sounds like a Pitchfork review in that it shits on something without explaining why. I like how you’re shitting on a well-supported

Great! That doesn’t mean it works to the film’s benefit.

Nah, the solution isn’t for the bullied to learn how “to give it back.” The solution is for people not to be assholes in the first place.

Damn the left! .. turning on someone that turns out to be shitty.

You may have been posting tongue-in-cheek and it went over my head, but in case not, here are just a few very small examples of how the attacks are not at all “completely unfounded.”

Not surfe why you’re complaining about Danette’s “personal animosity.” It’s more like she’s seeing parallels between fiction and reality.

The “left” doesn’t like him because he gift-wrapped the election to Trump by dredging up that bullshit email investigation right at the 11th hour. Good on him for finally realizing the extent of the damage he’s caused, but he’s not suddenly some hero of democracy. He used the FBI to further his own partisan agenda.
