Maybe you should watch the most recent episode of the Good Place. It’s discussion of ethics, just desserts, and power is going to be more complicated than you think.

Hey, do you all remember when Obama bombed those schools? Or took a stand against protestors amongst a wave of highly publicised murders of black people by police? Or bailed the banks out of the GFC while doing absolutely nothing for the people whose lives the banks destroyed?

Swap Ms. Maisal and American Vandal for the correct list.

There was a lot of negativity around this movie in the last comments section. Things seem more positive here but I’m not interested in debating or writing an essay about why I think this movie is good. What I will say is that this movie probably changed my life. Particularly with the Clash at Demonhead concert scene,

I remember when they killed off Cisco it was my favourite episode to that point. I was actually convinced we had a real superhero show that could just about touch the upper echelons of Buffy style genre television. Then they undid in the next episode and I was like “oh, ok, the time travel was kind of cool though”.

I found out the other day the reason we don't have Walmart in Australia is because they have a strict no union policy, and in Australia it's illegal to fire people for unionising. So rather than just bite the bullet they decided not to even bother, which, good, but also fuck Walmart.

I meant the woman in the header, who I’m assuming is the daughter. I do not watch this show anymore. I actually like the villain mask in that still, it’s very nu-Deus Ex-y.

I hate to be that guy but that costume is Yikkkkeessss city. I guess there would be something endearing about the arts and crafts look of it if it had colour.

Honestly makes good business sense to me. Venom seems to appeal largely to children despite the character’s violent nature, certainly as I got older I lost interest in the character, mainly due to a lack of good stories. Let’s face it, big dumb alien who eats people doesn’t really play well off Spidey.

Claudia O’Doherty being another Australian accent that gets on my nerves somewhat. I know she really IS Australian, but I don’t know anyone who talks like that (probably because she grew up in Sydney) and I can’t help but feel like it’s played up a little.

Nah. Cletus is ugly trailer park trash. Woody Harrelson ain’t it.

Most of these dipshit politicians did, yes.

Yeah, except those other things aren’t already right wing fantasies people think are actually hapenning in the real world, presented uncritically.

Edit: oops, I forgot what Fame was actually about.

Fuck this show and fuck anybody out of touch enough with the world to think there’s a single high school or institution in America not ruled be straight cis men.

Makes sense, I’m a little younger. And from the north, my girlfriend from Vic recognised it.

I preferred the ones in Bart vs. Australia. Really.

Even the creator of Bojack realised white washing Diane was wrong.

Business people” just serve to make money and ruin things because they produce no labour of any value to society.

OK, then I want the movie to make clear he’s an evil piece of shit and not patronise me with the “these kooky weirdos” angles Joker and Harley stories so often take.
