By he I meant Hamill. One tossed off tweet is not a “battle” compared to the people working very hard at fighting this kind of stuff.

He wrote one tweet, Sam.
Did anyone else prefer season 1? I actually liked how the two main characters were huge dicks, it at least made the show unique. In season 2 there seemed to be a very self conscious softening up of the leads.
I, too, would like to know what the fuck you just said.
Point me to one example of a “shifting editorial viewpoint”?
2 Quicksilvers though
If you don’t think Master of None belongs on this list then you just don’t have a refined taste for European romantic cinema. That’s my pretentious hot take and I’m sticking to it.
How is that when people get caught doing stuff like this (as rarely as it happens) they only ever end up with a slap on the wrist and getting fired. Seriously: how is it not an actual crime to knowingly swindle the federal government in this way? Why does a dude selling dope have to face getting locked up but Ajit…
James Corden and Jimmy Fallon can’t OD on cocaine soon enough.
“The most-recommended screenplay is called Ruin, and it concerns a former Nazi hunting down and assassinating the former members of his squad to atone for his Nazi crimes.”
TBH I wouldn’t be surprised at all to discover that a Bush government investigation of 9/11 was completely borked in their rush to steal oil... er, I mean, confiscate weapons of mass destruction from Iraq. So I understand that angle, though he still sounds bonkers.
The lack of development on new characters goes all the way back to Singer vehemently ignoring so much of First Class for his egotrip continuity wank DoFP. DoFP is still a... fine... movie, but it’s not as good as First Class and completely halted any forward momentum in the franchise by so resolutely refusing to move…
Defenders had a shortened season but I heard that felt stretched out too, right? I think it’s really up to creators to tell a story that fits the format. Steven S. DeKnight knew what he was doing with Daredevil S1: More episodic storytelling at first that eventually coalesces into an arc.
Needs more Kieron Gillen
“Thing we were unhappiest to learn: The Chevalier’s remarkable life ended in poverty. After the French Revolution, d’Éon’s pension was canceled and the family’s land was seized.”
It was cheap for NBC because it got a lot of budget from international distributors... I imagine it was significantly more expensive overall than your average NBC Chicago Park Supervisors drama.
Ah, damn. First season was amazing, up until maybe the last episode where it did kind of seem like they ran out of money. What are the chances this is a negotiating tactic, a la Lynch two years ago?
Ya, so the reviewer doesn’t know what auto tune actually is.
OF COURSE Batman waxes his own asshole
Wow bud, thanks for taking a stand on the big important issues here. Where would we be without your concern trolling? The fact that either man ever worked another day in Hollywood is a disgrace.
