What's turned me off Sunshine has never been its gameplay, but its aesthetic. Something about the vapid beach resort theme, ugly delfinos, and samey music makes it difficult to sustain lengthy play sessions. I'm sure if I'd grown up with a GC I would have loved it, but I can't come at it as in adult like I can with

I much prefer the galaxy approach too. I don't walk around the bee level in Galaxy thinking "gee, I'd really love a level showing us where all the bees hang out after work". Sunshine kind of went down that path, unfortunately.

Good for you.

Dude just wanna say I love ur profile pic
It's a very good toad

He's the commander in the field, giving directions to his team. Considering how showboaty most heroes are that would be very useful.
But there really is nothing dumber than arguing over comic book character's power levels.

I would like to live in a world in which Plaza actually does get cast in everything but not Bad Grandpa thanks.

Well that's an unfair assumption. I'm actually a fan of Marvel in general. I like GotG and Spider-Man and Jessica Jones. I just have, um, standards?
If this show is good I will watch it. But the billion dollar corporation that is Disney is not a person, and it doesn't deserve the empathy or benefit of the doubt you're

I guess you're right. I'd hate to unjustly hurt the feelings of struggling artists such as Disney, Scott Buck and noted Donald Trump advisor Ike fucking Perlmutter.

I wonder if borrowing those cheap Doctor Who corridors actually saved them any money after shipping them to Hawaii and back.

I mean… Is that not the whole point of a trailer?
It's just that usually the intended reaction is a positive one. But it's not our fault their trailer makes their show look shitty.

Yes, artists should remember their place as servants for their IP hoarding, worker exploiting corporate overlords.

Gotta disagree on MP4. The exact last thing I want is another damn open world game. Seeing new powers and a more free approach to some of the puzzles would be great, but to me the carefully crafted, maze like layout of Metroid's maps are a big part of its claustrophobic charm.

Well I got the impression the setting of the first game was a very idyllic slice of the setting's fascist dystopia. Hopefully there'll be other locations in the game that more resemble it.
If you look at the leaked footage from wayyy back it too had a much more photoreal art style than the original.

Personally I vastly prefer Griffin's work at Polygon to mbmbam. The podcast is fine but not really something I would do for an hour every week. But if you're at all into videogames, or would just enjoy seeing them get fucking destroyed from the inside out, then Griffin's videos are essential.

While Montreal made the game most of the project leads were regular Bioware names, and it seems like it was their bad decision making that caused most of the game to be scrapped and rebuilt in the last 12 months of devolpment.

Temple of Doom works really well as a fun sleep over movie when you're a kid, that's how I remember watching it.

Well, lots of right wing voters are anti-corporate (DRAIN THE SWAMP!). They just vote for people who aren't because they're idiots (oops he's not draining the swamp).

Wasn't the smile actually distorted with modern effects work in that scene? So if it was in the film originally it would have looked quite different, maybe that's why it was cut.

Ok sure because having a good imagination, a good sense of humour, and a couple of unusual spiritual beliefs makes you mentally ill.

But people who own big sports teams have a pretty long track record of doing evil things. So I don't see how that comparison is fair at all.
