The ending to Inquisition was so terrible I honestly thought it was a parody and the real ending was still coming. Turns out it was, but as DLC. That was much more deserving of backlash than ME3 imo.

The interesting thing is that ME3 is structured so that it has endings for different plotlines spread throughout the game. From what I remember to endings to the Krogan Genophage and Quarian/Geth plots were really good, it's just the final Reaper war ending that's a let down.

Witcher is already one of the best adaptions ever made. It's doubly impressive because the story is a continuation rather than a retelling, and yet the tone is so spot on.
