Right, so I'm probably in the minority in that I thought the epilogue was well done (robot Leia aside obviously). It was really well directed and drove home the film's themes of sacrifice and hope. HOWEVER, I thought the first Darth Vader scene was terrible. Not only was that choking pun awful, but the scene set, for

Actually I've watched four seasons of it, mainly just cause all my friends do. It didn't work for me.

I agree, most Netflix shows would be better with more episodic content. It seems modern TV writers just don't know how to structure a satisfying episodic story anymore, not on the level that Buffy or Angel could. Or they just don't care to. Game of Thrones is the absolute worst offender of this imo, I bounced off that

Cool article, would be great to see stuff like this all year round. Also if we didn't have to wade through 100 GJIs to get to it. But i won't ask for too much.

Sick. I definitely feel one of the problems with X/Y is that they introduced exp share but failed to scale anything else up to compensate for it.

So what's the difficulty like? Y was the first pokemon game I actually beat but I found the difficulty totally insulting. My team was consistently over levelled by 10 without me even grinding, and I basically one hit KO'd everything if I made sure to use a super effective move. It was just mash A for 40 hours. If

I think some of these albums are pretty good but IMO what really suffers compared to the 70s albums is the production. The new stuff is just so muddy and often cheap sounding, the completely unnecessary and obviously fake clapping on Wrecking Ball being a good example.
Wild, Innocent & E Street Shuffle has some of my

Coming from someone who's played like 8 Bioware games and liked all of them, I find The Witcher to be a step up in every way. Obviously the first two can't measure up to Bioware in terms of production values but that's about it.
Witcher is more idiosyncratic to be sure but IMO you get a more rewarding experience for

Oh yeah, I absolutely play without a lot of the HUD. I always disable the mini map in any open world game, ever since GTA IV I've realised that I just stare at the mini map rather than the actual game. I don't think I could go as far as removing the health bar, but with my current settings the HUD disappears when not

Really? Inventory space in Witcher is pretty forgiving if you make sure to upgrade Roache's saddlebags. And anyway, it takes at most five minutes to fast travel to a shop and get back to where you were, so no big deals.

Yes! For the first half of my Witcher 3 playthrough I mostly jogged/Roached around the map, but in the second half I began to slow down and I realised there is honestly more beautiful artistry in this game than should be humanely possible. I also recommend occasionally turning off the oppressive music and appreciating

She's wasn't trying to speak for you even a little. She's stating a fact: there was pushback against another white Peter Parker casting from some people (including myself). If you're OK with having another white dude in a universe already full of white dudes that's fine but, idk, do you have to be rude about it?

My one complaint is that Ant-Man's characterisation made no sense whatsoever. Wasn't his whole deal that he wanted to stay out of prison so he could be a good dad? Here Cap asks him to commit crimes on a global scale and he just joins up without any real motivation. And then he actually does wind up in prison and

I would also recommend Remender's Uncanny X-Force. A bit of a different take because Deadpool isn't breaking the fourth wall, but he gets a fantastic dramatic arc while keeping the mantle of "comic relief". I really have to get around to reading Joe Kelly's run. Oh, and avoid Daniel Way at all costs.

No, but you seem like a reasonable and not at all crazy person so sure, tell me more.

You're right that it's not really a ratings system. You're wrong that your music is more obscene.

No. America introduced the PG-13 rating which single handedly fucked up Hollywood movies for everyone. Also, your ratings system aren't unified between media, making it confusing and pointless for everyone.
America is also the only country I know of that has any kind of ratings system in place for music.
Other countries

That's really weird, the only thing I can think is maybe there was a cut joke where Killgrave called them super hero names to make fun of them? Which doesn't make sense because how would he know that Jewel was Trish's preferred name? Unless Jess told him when she was under his control? Maybe? I guess we'll never know.

Interestingly, Malcolm is the name of a minor character in Alias (the comic) that shares zero similarities with this character. OK, that's not very interesting at all.
EDIT: just finished the last episode and they actually do now share something which I feel stupid for not seeing.

Re: Being free of Killgrave's powers. Not once in the show, to my memory, has anyone freed themselves of Killgrave's control through their own emotional strength. I think this is great. I have always hated it when mind controlled characters manage to magically escape at the last moment. It's narratively lazy and not a
