A) Exactly, it won't happen, so why would they? And again, the comic people make comics, the movie people make movies.
B) But the exact opposite is happening. The last decade+ has seen the X-Men consciously integrated with the rest of the Marvel U more than ever before. They have a flagship book called Uncanny

I'm not sure I understand. Retaining what rights? Marvel/Disney own the right to make comics about all their characters forever, it's completely separate from the movie licensing deals.
The people who make comic books only make comic books. They don't make toys or movies or theme parks. They'll keep publishing whatever

I am so sick of this argument. X-Men comics sell. A lot. Why would Marvel stop making them?

Seems like a lot of hyperbole to me. They'll mash a few things together to make for a slightly different (and hopefully more diverse) line of comics. It's a bit silly to call this the "death" of marvel continuity. It definitely does not seem like a New 52 style shit show.

Yes, because we here at the AV Club only partake in the most mature of indulgences. Just look at our popular weekly reviews of cartoon sitcoms and superhero shows!

2. Listen (fuck yeah deconstruction)
3. Dark Water (I loved the idea of a canonical afterlife, it was amazingly batshit insane even though I knew they would have to backpedal eventually. Still impressed with how far they took it)
4. Flatline
5.

Hey um… The Beatles and many others from that era were mixed very differently in mono and stereo. Especially with the sonic experimentation the Beatles did circa Stg. Pepper, the stereo albums could be considered an entire remix by today's standards. So just playing the stereo albums in mono would be very different to

Eh, I disagree with the "every issue should be a first issue" mantra. It's pretty anti intellectual and flies in the face of everything great that's been accomplished in serialised storytelling in TV during the last decade (The Wire, Game of Thrones, Mad Men etc.) I think if you're telling a good story people will

Is there anything more obnoxious than capitalising god related pronouns? I don't have anything against it in a religious sense but it's just really damn annoying to read.
