That ending was grim. Olivia talking about her dad owning everybody practically made me feel queasy.

Anything with Mellie/Fitz/Cyrus is always so hilariously awesome. Whenever she gets a big speech it's almost always the best part of an episode.

Well, I'm too late to actually discuss the episode, but as many have said, thanks for the reviews! I haven't always loved Nashville (many a time I wonder why I still watch it) but the reviews have always been really great.

That's true, I think she did realize how crazy she was being and it was a lot more mature of her to be the one who knew it was Yale first. Also, I think Emily did say something to Lorelai about how close Yale was, which would be a big selling point for her.

Maybe Lorelai finally realized she was being completely insane…insisting from birth her daughter would go to Harvard…having an idiotic freakout when Yale is even discussed, etc. It would have been nice if she gradually came to this realization, but oh well.

It was impossible for sure but still a cute/touching moment.

Messed up, yeah. But before Friday Night Dinner Lorelai and Rory only saw them a few times a year I believe. It's horrible but I can at least kind of understand why Emily thinks it's the only way to keep Lorelai around.

It was nice to see Morales get something to do, but her character definitely came off as an awful person for much of the episode. There's nothing wrong with people not having everything in their life figured out, but you don't have to be a jerk to people. Also, the solar system she created would look identical to

"Yes Boyle, I put that together. From context."

My hometown was part of one of the answers last night woohoo!

That's always bothered me when Cyrus goes on about how brilliant Fitz is and how he needs to be the man running the country.  Uhh, Fitz gets outsmarted by others, is drunk half the time, and doesn't seem to give a shit about much of anything.  I think he's an interesting character but they're definitely guilty of

Fitz is either completely delusional or there's something else he knows that would allow him to get relected. Although half the time he doesn't even act like he wants to be president.

There were definitely earlier episodes where he actually had to act and not just make a couple quips.  I haven't watched the show in years but Munch was always my favorite character and I definitely hated it when they stopped giving him stuff to do.  Would it really have been that awful to give him an episode or two a

If I ever have kids (big maybe) I really hope they enjoy sports but aren't so into it that they want to join traveling or club teams.  The thought of spending my weekends half-akwake in a gym or on a soccer field does not sound pleasant.  Also, I will do everything in my power to keep them from taking dance classes.

Half the fun of Juliette is all of the dumb decisions she makes, but the one at the end of the episode is a level of stupidity I didn't think (ok, hoped) she wouldn't stoop to.

Yeah it seems like the perfect fit.  Instead ABC continues to air "hangout" comedies about friends after MF, all of which get canceled or moved to another network.

Except at this point anyone who auditions for this show knows what they're getting in to.  So chances are they must already see themselves as worthless and in need of this show to be happier.

I kind of hope it will just be half of the season (like how last year we had Defiance and Albatross splitting the season as far as major mystery arcs went).  I'm hoping for this mainly because I don't want to have to wait until May to find out all the answers to the various questions that will come up.

Annoying/kind of awful? Yes.  But useful for hashtags on twitter? Most definitely.  I think "gladiators" will be sticking around for some time.

Yeah, Harrison has always been my least favorite "gladiator".  I think it's mainly because what Olivia "saved" him from is a very white collar crime—a thing I don't have a ton of sympathy for.  Whereas all of the other members of Pope & Associates are actual victims of various horrible things.  I think this makes
