Not really all that helpful when it doesn't have ANY of the regional airports. I'm going to my parents house in June and it's nowhere near the estimated $1000 they list vs. the $900 it would take to drive.

Used book store? At least then you might get some form of store credit.

The best suggestion I can give is DON'T GET SENTIMENTAL. Just throw it away. Do it. You'll feel better.

This is really cool! Especially when choosing the colors and intensity of lights and consoles. I know that there are some points when I CANNOT SEE the display because of the sun. Also allows them to ensure that sun visors actually work and don't leave gaping holes that the driver can't do anything about.

If AT&T has 39 billion laying around, I'm certain they have enough to pay off the FCC.

Lucky you. I would've been free and clear from my contract in May, but I just re-upped for an Android. Fuck me.

In my car, which isn't even nearly "compact" you have to remove the entire headlight assembly to replace the bulbs. With the tail lights, its a similar process. Some people just aren't up to that.

I just use a Google Doc with my own forumulas - mainly because Gas is on his account and Electric and Rent are on mine. Still cool.

Not really - depends on the type of cassette that you use. Longest I think is 90 minutes, versus 76 minutes on your standard CD. Most commercial pressings of cassettes though were on much shorter tapes.

Sometime in 2004 I think - I had a tapedeck installed in my '92 Dodge Spirit, but it was eating tapes constantly at that point. I bought an Elantra that year and it only had CD.

I already do that on my laptop with a regular trackpad!

The problem I think I would have with this trackpad is the lack of tactile borders - all to often I find myself mousing about 1/4" too far to the right of my trackpad as it is. Without a tactile border, I'd be totally lost.

They're there for me

That's pretty awesome :) I'd be interested to know what they used to accomplish it!

@thebrokencarnage: But the GPS is so much more personable - it TALKS to you - it must be right. The paper map remains silent... I think its a liar!

@beanperry: How did she pass the eye exam?

You can't just "run out of road." That's when you apply the brakes.

@The5thElephant: Check out the new samsung laptops - they're beautiful.

Interesting. Compatability with MS Office docs and Open Office was always an issue. Will be interesting to see where this one goes since its more ingrained into the system.
