Fyi- the “Kentucky side of the Ohio River” is just “Kentucky.” I know you people try to act like you’re from “Cincinnati”, but you are from Kentucky. Deal with it.

This was an idiot on the field incident as they say on Deadspin.com. Also, some random guy ran up and interrupted the show from the crowd.

There’s also the conspiracy theory that the Japanese abducted her ... for some reason... 2 years before WWII in Europe, 4 years before we entered it, and at a time when we were still at least talking to each other diplomatically. Then, as you would do with a high profile hostage, they kept totally quiet about it and

Dude! You promised not to say anything, otherwise Bigfoot would leave.

Why can’t the US be cool with renting out their multi million dollar fighter jets to people with money to burn? I’d love to take a trip in an F/18, F/15 or F/16... but NOOOO... we have to be famous or important to get a ride in a Blue Angel... :(

Wow, what are you talking about? There were a lot of ways Austrian civilians could have died during World War II. Could have died in a concentration camp. Could have died in the U.S. bombing of Vienna. Could have been killed by shelling of the Soviet 3rd Ukranian Front the the early April 1945 campaign in Austria.

For those curious about the brother/sister/brother reference in the statement. From David Arquette on Kocktails with Khloe:

I kind of read the exact opposite from this statement. It feels like Alexis’s brother was being very careful in his use of language and was very respectful of Alexis’s preferences/wishes.

I am currently in the Airforce, aircraft maintenance. I have launched aircraft filled with humanitarian supplies, and the same aircraft filled with bullets and bombs. I feel indifferent, I know we do bad and good, but I have reconciled that the world will not exist without violence, and I think for the most part

If your actions enabled the taking of life - it also enabled the saving of it. Those fighters didn’t just drop their payloads at random. Perhaps the fighters were protecting a convoy - or maybe they were performing surgical strikes to take out enemy forces before they could kill a village. People died - yes. But

You are partly responsible for freedom airman, hold your head high bud.

I think this was one of the more impactful things I have read here - and thank you for sharing. I am thankful for what you did as a part of your duty and sorry that it has affected you so. I’m sorry if has been difficult and I encourage you to find groups or others to discuss similar experiences or feelings with. You

Feel free to ignore the self-righteous chatter of those comfortably typing away in anonymity.

Whether or not i agree with war or the wars on terror over the past decade or not is not for now. I want you to know that i appricate the fact that you served and did what i and most of the people here on this board could never do.

It only shows that you are human and have compassion. Nothing more and nothing less.

Think of it this way, you are also partially responsible for saving the lives of people protected from the bad guys who were killed by that plane.

You know, it’s not logical to feel guilt for something you didn’t really have a direct hand in, but I’ll tell you from personal experience, it’s real and it’s a shitty feeling.

I’m pretty sure Andre Agassi used to throw games when he went down early in a set and if you look at his matches, you can see what I mean, and no one ever said anything about it.

Other than her beach house, did we... not know she was homeless after watching the first video...?
