The Go-Gos "Head over Heels"

Maybe I should become a stand-up comedian so I can finally fulfill my dream of 90% of my day spent on leisure.

You fail to mention that in the motorcycle riding art thief movie, Kurt Russell's character is named Crunch Calhoun.

Yes. The best part is when he presses a few numbers and then just mashes all of them.

A because of the Fat Dog song and for being one of the most purely funny episodes in awhile.

I kind of loved this episode. It might be the craziest episode of the series if only for the dance/bear attack subplot and the tag at the end.

I got a Jerry Lee Lewis outtake of a song called Lazy River and some German spoken word thing by a guy named Carl Rühl. Good stuff.

I thought he came out looking a lot better than the Penny Arcade guys in
that situation. What did he do there that made you dislike him?

There aren't that many consoles with backward compatibility. There are far more without it. PS2, PS3 (partial), Wii, Wii U, XBox 360 (partial?), most Nintendo Handhelds… that's about it. It was a kind of short lived trend. At least they are mostly on media that are less likely to break on you like cartridges.

Yeah FF VI is a buggy game. The Evade stat doesn't even work!! And the Vanish/doom exploit was so hard to ignore!!

I like how this act ended in a cliffhanger. It ended at an emotional high point after a startling twist, kind of how Empire Strikes Back or the last Hunger Games movie ended. There is something to be said about making each act of a multi-part story into a work that stands alone but I don't mind when one chapter ends

AV Club probably doesn't make its writers base their review scores on the ones given by other writers. I bet they base them on other episodes of the show they are reviewing or other shows within the genre. Mostly though the grades are meant to sum what they wrote in the review. AV Club doesn't have that strong of an

A-.

How about this Pavement cover of "Something" by The Beatles?

I don't really think it is award-worthy performance but I like him on the show usually. Sometimes he is a bit too annoying but the writers also give him the same plot lines every week. I think he does a good job not letting those get old. Last week, him and Craig Robinson together were the highlight of that episode.

A-. I agree with most of the complaints but it made me laugh a lot and I liked the Fincher/crime drama references.

Yes. I want them to give her something to do and not make her look like a total joke.

Wouldn't be too surprising since they made the pretty successful transition from a sludgy noise rock band to a jammy classic rock band. Their M.O. seems to be doing whatever they goddamn please

Pretend you live in a time where people didn't know who created their television shows and didn't have to read about the stupid things they wrote on Twitter. So like 10 years ago.
