I liked it because it went vroom vroom and was fast.

Absolutely. I can;t stand when people don’t mention this. I went from a 335xi e92 as my fun car to a 01 boxster S. When you hit the throttle in the 335, it took a second for the power to come on. OK. When I hit the throttle in the boxster, literally nothing happens until it hits 4k rpm, which can take anywhere from…
Please excuse me for being a layman 335i driver. Doesn’t the power come at higher RPM’s in a NA car? So, if you have peak power at 1800 RPM with a turbo car isn’t that better than having wait until you rev to 5k or 6k? Aren’t you either waiting for the turbo to spool or the engine to rev so you are waiting either way?
See where are we going to put our kids, if there’s a mid engined Corvette?
There are no amount of bad choices that could lead me to a PT Cruiser.
And it also has stuck up Germans on it who can’t believe some Americans actually know how to drive as well, or even better than a German man!
I’m not a fan of sterile, cold home designs. Then again I also think the design for the i3 is terrible too. I don’t get the design language in that car especially seeing as how the i8 looks great. But the i3? WTF...
Mid trim Accord or a V12 Aston. I wonder how many people have had this debate.
I’ve almost irrationally purchased an S-class for the champagne chiller alone lol.
Thankfully. Do you know how hard it is to get KFC crumbs out of a gated shifter?
In Saudi Arabia they just ride flying carpets or monkeys that have been turned into elephants right?
It was being driven by Jeff Zwart.
How many times are we gonna use that tired out “Pretty sure..” joke? I mean we’re at the point where it’s not even ironically funny. It’s just not funny anymore.
“same blog that called the car worthless....And now it’s a bad thing that the car no one bought is going to be gone?”
We enthusiasts are a critical bunch, aren’t we?
Yeah, thank you! The CR-Z was a huge disappointment. Honda has done an about-face with the new Civic. Even “just” an EX has a 1.5L turbo with just about the same fuel consumption. The CR-Z could have been an autocross monster if they had released it with something like this 5 years ago. Turbo, or at least 170hp from a…
I quite like the CR-Z. It’s a beautiful car, handles great and is available in a manual. I test drove one in 2012 and I instantly ‘got it’.
So... it needs to effectively be a Fit Si?
I dunno, when he said “And that’s actually a disappointment.” I took it to mean it should go on. There was never going to be an IC only turbocharged CR-Z
I bought one brand new for less than $20K. And up until Honda took it away for 7 weeks for an airbag thing, it’s the perfect 2 person commuter module for my wife and I. Would I have bought a Civic in place of this? NOPE. This was the only thing Honda had on the menu that even remotely interested me.
