I read that when it came out. Again, I have absolutely no sympathy - he told them what he would do, and they quite frankly didn’t listen or didn’t believe him. Or they hate that black family in the white house so very much.

Yeah, I’m really losing any empathy I may have held for these “low-information voters.” I cannot force you to read a paper or listen to a reasonable newscast (listen, I’d settle for CBS/NBC/ABC evening national news), or learn a little something about the world you live in, let alone exert some critical thinking.
Thank you for using the phrase “cat vendetta.” I will make it my own.
i will see this
If in fact it was Rudy’s decision, I wonder if it is because he didn’t think he would win senate approval (or whatever it is called).
And honestly, this is where I kind of blame the unions. They should have been working on retraining, education etc. for their members because, as you said, it has been clear for decades what is happening in manufacturing.
Thank you for pointing that out (the need for retraining, education, etc.). The fact is, if you do not have at least a 2 year degree/credential from a community college you are not going to get a life/family sustaining job. And even then, it is questionable. Nothing is guaranteed in this life, except for the fact that…
I think you may be right. A few interviews I read before the election with Trump supporters who really were hurting financially because of their lack of employment options essentially said that: we know he will be horrible but we kind of want to burn it down and start over.
Man she just looks sooooo tired.
agreed 100%. If Van (and boy do I love him) is talking about taking real, concrete actions then that is good, but a “love army?” That is . . . disappointing.
you are a genius
I just kind of find it all sad. If the child is on the spectrum, it appears the parents are a little ashamed of that, instead of discussing it (just my opinion). And if that is the case, it is very very sad.
“She’s got a leg like me!!!”
Can you talk me through this? I got botox 2x last year and just didn’t do much - maybe the dosage was too low. Can you share how many injections and where (I assume your forehead)? And the juvederm - what is that for and where did you get that? Finally (sorry but you are my expert now) - if you don’t mind my asking…
Last I read, the least expensive room is $795/night, nearly double what other DC high end hotels (Ritz, Four Seasons, Mandarin) charge for a room night. Which by all reports, is going to be a YUGE problem for the hotel. DC is not NYC - it just cannot sustain a $795/night room night, especially when there is no…
In DC, the only people I ever see offer up a seat is young/youngish black men. White men, never.
God it so frustrates me. The national anthem is NOT a salute to the military and the people who refuse to acknowledge the protestors’ very real reasons and rather conflate the anthem with military service are really starting to piss me off.
Exactly! That is why I hate Lane Bryant - even the Christian Siriano line there.
So I know Christian Siriano (spelling?) does work for Lane Bryant, but does he also sell his plus sized stuff elsewhere? I just feel like to meet the lane bryant price points the quality (fabrics) aren’t as good. Also does anyone know if the PR winner that Tim Gunn mentioned (sorry - don’t know her name) have a plus…
Ahhh - I have been there. The solution is to follow the washing instructions - you cannot put them in the dryer. Now that I hang dry them, they keep their shape throughout the day, and seasons in fact.
