I am on a Series X and have had no issues except the pixel messages on walls.  I think its just poorly optimized for PC.

I think GamePass is my secret ingredient here. Is the game a bit inexplicably slapdash? Yes. But having not paid $70 for it, I can lean in to the fact that I am perfectly capable of enjoying a mediocre game, especially when co-op with my friends is involved.

Yeah, I learn from history - I enjoyed Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Skyrim, and Fallout 4. The latter 2 at launch without major issues (and maybe FO3, don’t remember clearly if I got it day 1). Based on that history, I’m looking forward to Starfield.

Performance is choppy, and there’s definitely bugs, but for any fans of Arkane, there’s still a decent or maybe even good game in there. Two things I recommend:

I mean, you play as a cop that goes into a building without announcing themselves, and immediately pulls a gun on the first person they see, and begins shooting. This rendered in police-cam footage often associated with police murdering people without due cause.

You looked at the trailer, which purported to show gameplay, and you are saying: that ISN’T gameplay, but a scripted scene, and it will look worse when a person is able to play it.

They released a trailer last year that was first person and it looked less realistic than this. I think they’re using some lens tricks with the body cam to make the footage more believable.
