You know what else hasn’t gone up since the mid 2000s? Wages. Stop counter-crying because people are upset that they can’t afford anything anymore, yet companies still demand more.

Impact vs. intent argument. You can’t separate prevalent social norms from personal culpability. There’s a self-righteousness to our current culture that has trouble recognizing that. But part of the trouble comes from the fact that, on a moral level, it doesn’t really matter. Harm is harm. I am less personally

From what the article states, it sounds like the devs are sunsetting the official dedicated servers to make way for new stuff, which is rather straight forward for online games. Sounds like they are backingup data so those servers can continue privately as well. The “remastered Ascended” stuff raises an eyebrow.

Reading your comment is exhausting grumpy pants. There’s nothing wrong with trying to find a connection between two versions of something you like. For a game like DnD, it’s inevitable that those comparisons will happen.

That’s if I can stop playing Zelda for long enough by then.

Playing melee in this game will take getting used to with the potion limitations.

I probably spent about 75% of boss fights trying to avoid shit.

It’s weird that we have to consider the fact that a war criminal like GWB is less bad than Disney and DeSantis, but here we are.

1. This is the goverment running a private business’ land for them.

2. They were talking about ‘changing the programming’ that disney aired. So they thought they were getting 100% control of the company.

3. They already had that control for decades, they were being punished for speaking against a discriminatory law.

Michelle Obama and George Bush didn’t strip the U.S. of Roe v Wade or hundreds of thousands of live due to covid, or anything else that’s the direct result of that orange fuckwit. So yes, that’s my mentality. And go fuck yourself.

Your two sides are a hellishly dystopian mega corporation, or literally the fourth reich. Nazis are always the worst person(s) in the room.

I get why companies prefer to just do their own thing now, but E3's demise does make me a bit sad.

Along those lines, putting a banana in a paper bag with something like an avocado or tomato will help ripen those things quicker, too.

Wow, thanks! I didn’t know that either, and I do care about the state of my bananas, I like mine to still have a little green on it.

I feel secure in saying it’s the price. I would love to have one. I know a lot of people who would love to have one. But it’s an impossible luxury right now.

Fuckin’ everybody forgets that Gen X exists. Stand by Me is a solidly Gen X movie in which everyone in the primary cast is a Gen Xer.

I wouldn't call VR a gimmick but it definitly still falls in the enthusiast market rather than full commercial. The only headset doing any kind of numbers is the Quest and even then the company has been scaling back because the market is still too young.

I find myself wishing that the jury could find on behalf of the court system and the public, and hold both parties financially responsible.

That’s a pretty absurd argument. Almost every food I can think of is enhanced in its flavor by spices, sauces, toppings, etc. A great tasting hotdog topped with good mustard and sauerkraut is even better.

It does my heart good to see so many people in the comments correctly naming Vermithrax of Dragonslayer as the best cinematic dragon of all time.

Much as I enjoy the How to Drain your Python movies, Number one is obviously Vermithrax Pejorative. The one dragon that actually gets the girl, if you take my meaning.
