I mean, most people already have a phone so your point is kinda moot. If you buy this for 300, your still most likely gonna have a phone as well which can ready do everything this device can do as well as make calls.

You don’t want to hear the rest of the story then, it involves multiple RMAs and having to diagnose a problem with software licensed by the month rented from a local shop. Mess of a build that took most of a year to get mostly functional.
