There is nothing “definite” about a new Nintendo console. It’s all just speculation, mostly from people who were spectacularly wrong about the long-rumored “Switch Pro.” 

Alright, I get the older generations having a 7-8 year “life-cycle” because tech was rapidly advancing in more groundbreaking ways, but it feels ridiculous for this generation. It feels like we’ve barely gotten anything really cementing this generation as truly special. Sure, it could come in the next 3-4 years, but…

Games still releasing ps4 versions and the ps5 is already halfway done?

I finally got a PS5 when the slim version launched, and I held off because I already had a gaming PC, Series X, and a PS4...where I could play most of the big games released.

I think people are misreading this one.

You left out a bunch of older titles (e.g. Flight Simulator, Tell Me Why, Ori, Sea of Thieves, Killer Instinct, etc) as well as upcoming titles (Avowed, Indiana Jones, Hellblade 2, Outer Worlds 2, Elder Scrolls 6, Fallout 5, Blade, Fable, South of Midnight, Clockwork Revolution, etc).

I feel like a PS5 is the only logical console for a PC owner to have. Any Microsoft exclusives are already on PC, so if you want access to the most games possible, the PC/PS5 combo is the best set. Despite also owning a hilariously overkill PC because of my job, I still use and love my PS5, but that’s really just…
