You know, I have a pretty low bar for acceptable food. I love me some taco bell. I will eat anything off the mcdonald’s menu without complaint. Old pizza on the counter? If it’s not moldy it’s probably fine. If it is moldy it probably won’t kill you.

I’d also put Metroid in this category. Return of Samus had a different enough objective that it still feels like an outlier to me in the series... less exploration, more extermination.

I think (speaking for my own n=3) the sluggishness is from too much screen time. Those “free” periods when they were in school like recess, lunch, study hall give them breaks and energy.

Yeah that’s how I always heard it as a kid. It’s just fake Italian-y sounds—which is problematic in its own way—but I never got why people wanted to find something nefarious when it’s such an obvious extension of the character’s speech quirks.
