I think it’s funny and smart today. Trevor Noah took a few months to get into the role (in the beginning I felt he had this kind of annoying “ain’t I a stinker?” tone when telling jokes) but so do all the hosts in these jobs (like Colbert finding his footing on his CBS show after about a year.) And having Trevor Noah

Widgets and being able to organize all the Apps more easily were the two big thing I was surprised to find missing when I moved from an Android to an Iphone. Glad they’re fixing that!

Those episodes came out during a period when being “ironically racist” was seen as a clever way to make fun of actual racists (see also Sarah Silverman on her TV show). So, you have the most clueless characters doing racist things, but the audience knows you’re in on the joke and actually mocking racists for being

“Rivals” sounds fun so I’ll check it out. And as long as we are talking about Hyden, for old times’ sake... DAWES!

I adore this movie, and this series of articles. Have you considered collecting them, maybe adding a few more to the list, and getting a book published? I’d love to buy it.

After watching the special I looked this up (just on Wikipedia)...

His Batman is my favorite. Not as goofy as the 1960s TV show, not as grim and gritty as Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns. You could actually see him in both the Justice League and solving super crime in Gotham. His run with Neal Adams (also a legend) is revered for good reason.

I thought TV Guide would be on something like this years ago. Just put the name of the show you want in the search engine without having to know which studio it’s from or which streaming service it’s licensed to currently. Seems a missed opportunity.

I think he’s funny in small doses. The pre-fimled sketches on SNL is where he shines, usually as a goofy stoner type. A movie where he pairs with another goofy stoner, or playfully annoys the straight guy (or woman) who is the actual lead could be fun. A dramedy about his coming of age seems less appealing.

I think that was “Set It Up”? Great little rom com if people are looking for a nice diversion. And yeah, Davidson was funny in a small part.

As someone who doesn’t use Twitter, is stuff you tweet able to be found forever? Or did he leave this up there after he found out he landed a role on a network show because he thought it was no big deal?

I only know her TV work, so does anyone have a recommendation on which of the movies she directed to watch first?

Why does she continue to be purposefully ignoring the difference between sex and gender? She’s a very smart person, so the only answer I can think of is that she’s deeply anti-trans and a bigot.

A hero Coulson I can see for sure. For many, he’s just behind Lincoln as our best president.

Maybe it gets just enough of an audience to make it worth it? And then keeping a good relationship with the Whedons likely never hurts either.

You like it way more than I do. Which is awesome of course. For me, the first season of Jessica Jones and Daredevil reached heights the show never has (and they had their weak episodes). And I don’t think it can compare well with the best of the movies. But it still is a ton of fun at times.

I’m with you. I’ve watched every episode and was super confused. Still a fun hour of TV but be cool to actually be reminded where we left things.

People who watched Agent Carter? Although I wouldn’t say that was a great show. A good one at times, with a super charming lead.

I know I’m in a tiny minority, but I couldn’t stand them. Reminded me a bit of Ricky Gervais mocking Karl Pilkington. I don’t get it.

Hahahaha!
