She’s a septuagenarian too, but seems much younger due to her energy!

Abrams made that statement of not wanting to be Biden’s VP back when she was still considering a presidential run. Since then she decided not to enter the race and has said she would be open to being the VP of any Democratic nominee.

Much more satisfying for me was an interview Michael Shur did today on KCRW’s Press Play with Madeline Brand... (for some reason the headline calls him the show’s director, rather than creator/showrunner.)

I didn’t mind a little bittersweet melancholy (it’s a finale of a show about the afterlife after all) but I wish they’d shown us a little more of what our cast did with an eternal after-life and eternal possibilities.

And you know getting the Affordable Care Act passed and thus saving thousands of American lives and making millions of Americans’ lives better by making it possible for them to have health insurance. That’s a bigger achievement than many presidents.

That episode is all I could think of when I heard the premise. I wonder if Julia Louis-Dreyfus had the same reaction?

I find her and Judd both super annoying and no fun to watch. And they seem to be two of the main characters in the series, so might make me stop watching. Maybe the characters can get sent out the airlock together?

Totally agree with you. Sorry I misunderstood!

Yeah, I think in general the person who lived the actual experience will be able to write about it more authentically. Just feel someone from outside the experience shouldn’t necessarily be critiqued for doing so, unless they do a shit job (like seems to be the case here.)

Thanks for writing this. Sorry you lost your friend.

If they had the money, couldn’t the characters fly to the USA and overstay their tourist visa like other undocumented immigrants have done? I guess the idea is the cartel was after them and that would get them caught or something? Certainly less suspenseful if more real (2 out 3 undocumented immigrants get the USA

I think it would be okay to write about the Mexican experience if you’re not Mexican, or write about any experience that is not yours personally, as I would hate to live in a world where writers are limited that way (Imagine if women couldn’t write books that included men’s thoughts, for example or vice vesa.) But she

I think claiming to be a person of color or denying your white privilege would be wrong, and of course you don’t do that. But I would think you should feel free to embrace your Latinx heritage as Chile is most definitely part of Latin America (and majority white, just as the Latinx population in the USA considers

Your whiteness (or Cummins’s) has nothing to do with being Latinx or not. A majority of Latinx citizens of the USA self-identify as white. My guess is that is changing, but that’s as of the last Census. Being Latinx is an ethnicity, not a racial category (many ethnicities actually, as being Mexican is different than

Who is Beattie? (I’m ignorant but Google was no help!)

I think it’ll be an hour leading to the end of their journey and walking through the door.

For me one of the best episodes. And Spock canoodling with Jill Ireland is fun to watch... (althouth this pic makes it look like she’s reading a text.)

Now playing

She also had the right to spend year’s spreading hateful rhetoric. And we have the right to think she’s a terrible person (NBC hired her even after making all these comments and more.)

Maybe the story could be about why he ages so badly between Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars? I guess the desert conditions can be tough or maybe it’s his alien physiology, but still.

I thought it was only Bucky AND Uncle Ben stay dead. I haven’t read Spidey in a while, though, so maybe that got overturned too!
