Years ago, I saw a car in L.A. with a “Bartlet for America” bumper sticker, which made me smile. And then I saw Bradley Whitford was the driver, which made me smile more.

It reminds me a bit of Entourage as well. Both felt fresh and real to their worlds when they started and then both got really repetitive.

Good Omens is a very funny book in parts but also a bit of a mess. Seems the adaptation was true to the book, unfortunately. Might’ve been better for a screenwriter less attached to the original to adapt it and cut out the parts that don’t work. Certainly surprised they made it six hours long!

Unless I read it wrong, Kattan didn’t say Heckerling refused to do the movie unless she slept with him. He says that Lorne saw she was interested in him and Lorne pressured him to sleep with her to get her onboard with the project.
