Asylum seekers are not crossing illegally. They are escaping terrible conditions and legally asking for asylum. While their cases are being considered in the courts, which takes years, they should be allowed to work and support themselves (and the U.S. economy.)

With Cassie Lang now a teenager, and Client’s teenage daughter learning archery and being called Hawkete, we might be moving towards a Young Avengers movie! Throw in Monica Rambeau, and maybe the kid from Iron Man 3 (who showed up at the funeral) and Spidey? You got a team right there.

I thought Universal had the rights to Namor. Maybe Disney is buying them too?  Spoiler!

I’d say the Dothraki lit swords going out was a cool image. But also one we could see clearly (as the view was from afar so not supposed to be super clear.)  I’m bummed the darkness and quick cutting made it hard to follow the long-awaited dragon fight.

I get that they wanted to focus on the stars of the original films (plus everyone’s favorite Paul Rudd) so I didn’t mind that Carol didn’t have too much to do, but it was odd they didn’t call her for the time travel heist. Or at least mention she was out of contact. For the outer space parts of that time heist, seemed

This scene was so powerful... “Either they don’t know, don’t show, or don’t care about what’s going on in the hood.”

That’s awesome. Plus, it’s been done in the comics. With the recent A-Force series (an all-female Avengers team) and way back with the Lady Liberators (perhaps not the most nuanced take on women’s lib.)

Yeah, the lack of a major death was surprising, given the history of the show and what the expectations the last two episodes built. Definitely agree there. Even less major players such as Davos, Varys, and Brienne making it through really surprised me.

The scene was silly and seemingly made for future gifs or memes, but the teenage girl sitting near me in the theater cheered her head off.  So that’s kinda cool at least.  The similar scene in the last movie definitely worked better.

Nameless man was played by one of the directors. Maybe knowing they couldn’t ask him to cut his own cameo was his way of getting a gay character in their?  (Also, Thanos creator Jim Starlin was the bald guy sitting next to him.)

An old Tarrantino can direct it. “Kill Bruce”

That was a super fun read. Looking forward to more of your work!

Thanks!

“It was a tough criticism but also one that was valid and necessary and somehow left out of Munn’s screed.”

“...in ways that allow the final moment to land despite an unavoidable feeling of anti-climax.”
Huh. I thought it was an incredibly climactic.  Still do.  Different strokes!

Clearly you have never watched “Full House.

Out of the red shirts, I think the little girl who Davos convinced to go down to the crypt last episode died? Really surprised Varys didn’t.

No stakes??? All the stakes! The fate of the world! I thought it was amazing despite it’s faults (hard to follow, not sure what the strategy with the dragons was, nobody super important died— although Jorah is up there.). Still an intense 82 minutes where I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, and it had a

I think they’re saving Arya making a big kill while wearing a face for her confrontation with Cersei. My fear is she’ll look like Jamie and then get shot by Bronn.

I thought Bran was gonna warg into the Ice Dragon (is that what it’s called?)  But nope!  Just some ravens. He’s a confusing dude!
