My guess is the rights to the Josie and the Pussycat characters might belong to whoever made the movie (or even the cartoon.) And tonally they’re a lot sunnier than this show seems to be going for. But a live-action reboot of “Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space” could be kitschy fun!
