Swinton- a literal aristocrat - comes off as patronising, as if seeking to reaffirm her views. One can do this in good faith while still proving offensive. It surprises me that so few people see that. But from the comments here I wonder if it’s just a case of people fangirling their favorite “quirky” actress.
