‘Kay, but, like the movie was, actually really good and really, really well done. Like, the last…I want to say 45 minutes or so? were just nonstop tension. Maybe it’s aimed straight at the lizard part of your brains but good golly, it’s dead on target and so well done. Snark away, but if anyone’s looking for a genuine

Yup. My first thought when I saw this headline and read this…I guess technically it’s an article, was “So it’s come to this”. I miss this place.

Vaya con dios, and good luck. I think your closing lines could be a mission statement around here lately, for the writers and for some of us long time commenters.

It seems like every time I get genuinely excited about an article lately, and then see who wrote it and get more excited, it’s another farewell article.

Gah, I know this isn’t the time or place, and I know this is a comment from (as I write this) five years ago, but coming from a place of genuine confusion and hoping to gain some understanding— is equality not the goal or a good thing now? Is highlighting differences and emphasizing what’s dissimilar among groups that

One thing I’ve half jokingly but mostly seriously thought throughout Moffat’s tenure is that he goes out of his way to either undo things that RTD did, or at least try to show that he could do them better. This whole trilogy seemed to be his attempt to do the Master trilogy, right down to the power of love ending

The Doctor Who boards turned into the Community boards so gradually I hardly noticed.

Right? Like, is it a shock that he’s kind of a dirtbag? Is it?

Why do we (as a society) pay attention to idiots? Idiots gonna idiot. Let them. Ignore them. As the great Andy Williams once sang, just don’t look. If people would just ignore these morons, instead of engaging with their desperate cries for attention, instead of giving them the ears and eyes they do desperately crave,

I’ll be honest, as I was reading this, I was kind of going through a checklist in my head of the comments from the original review. Yup, addressed that issue, yup, mentioned that, yup, there’s that point…

Or, maybe, this is a really cool thing, and it’s actually nice to hear some positivity. That may just be me, though. When you’re feeling super down and miserable, there’s something to be said for complete strangers happily telling you that you’re awesome and that things will be okay. (Again, maybe that’s just me. But

It’s funny, and I get the “everyone comes into a movie with their own biases, and you need to accept and recognize that”, but I was also wondering if it’s an A based on the movie itself, or an A based on the cast and zeitgeist. Like…I’ve been looking forward to this movie. Is it as good if you’re not Canadian or of Asi

The impression I got was that it’s Teen Wolf, but Canadian, and female.

Thank you for this series. I haven’t seen (or heard of, in some cases) every movie you wrote about, but I have read every article, and they all made me want to see the movie. I won’t go on about how this series ending feels like the end of an era (though it does), or how this was maybe the last remaining regular

I know I read the original review; I can’t remember if I was part of the “C+ C+” crowd. (I doubt it, but I did find it amusing.) I also remember thinking the grade was fair at the time, and I was surprised to find someone who wasn’t just reviewing the movies with something along the lines of “another win for marvel!”,

I was really wondering if I was the only person who had thought of this. Like…he’s not actually there, you know. People use filters and avatars on phones and video chat all the time.

Hush, hush.

Let’s see, who wrote this post?

I was worried the world had passed me by, but then I read literally every comment on this terrible thing that I’m sorry to admit I wasted time reading, and it appears that everyone has had the same basic reaction, which seems to be some form of “I can’t believe I wasted a part of my life reading and thinking about

Wow, this series I’ve never heard of on a channel I can’t afford sure seems interesting.
