And that has exactly what to do with his thefts?

Fact I just made up: The “D” in that Little:D stands for Daaaaamn!

Nothing. Well, if anything, less cylinders doing more work each should easily net better fuel economy (less cylinders of frictional loss, higher inherent combustion efficiency per cyl). I was responding in reference to your “smaller engines have to work harder”, and started thinking about specific components working

The wrinkle here is the turbo.
Thermal management for a cooler engine also favors the larger motor.

It’s because the “driving at 43 mph and part throttle everywhere” is exactly how the EPA determines MPG. They’re just gaming the system just like everyone else.

You’ve managed to convince us all otherwise.

Have you considered making YOUR XJ “dead-nuts reliable”? I am talking about a full engine out rebuild. Deck the head, hone the cylinders (maybe bore it too), replace every gasket, refresh the trans, replace all the diffs (or just clean them and replace fluids), u joints, calipers, rotors, lines, booster, wheel

Ironically, spending a bit more cash on something decent that you actually like as your “reliable ride”, will:
A) probably save you more money then you spend on your constant stream of shitboxes.
B) Free you up to really go shitbox crazy

No you’re not (a cheap bastard). You’ve spent more on rusty jeeps and repair parts than I have on late model volkswagens. Mine are quiet, safe, fast, and reliable (ish).  You may not want to pay much for a vehicle up front, but you clearly pay a lot in the long run.  Think about it.

It’s a little strange this purple people-mover was at the show at all

Concrete was still wet? My excuse would have quickly become that the meter was installed upside down.

20 years waiting for this moment

Melenia let him play on Barons PS2 for a while before the meeting. Ol Donnie just got confused!

Why? It’s too cold outside to wrench.

If there were ever proof of the axiom that “if it exists, Formula 1 fans will complain about it”, this is it. They’ve literally done exactly what people have asked in simplifying the presentation of the tires, and of course we have to be upset about the behind the scenes nomenclature now.

If you used half the time you spend not fixing rusted out crapcans working a part time job you could afford the payment on a decent vehicle and still have time and money for a project car.

kek

Nope.  Clown comment.  Ever been in a fire in which you had a very limited amount of time to evacuate?  These “rich f*cks” perhaps chose to grab the pets, their kid’s 3rd grade art project and other irreplaceable mementos.  The car may not have entered their mind, eh?

implying that its related. there are dozens of fireworkers fighting the fires. this location would have been miles from where peopel died. In fact if this is the south california fire, then no one has died yet i think. Also people are responsible for their lives and should have evacuated when they were told too

cleaned it for months while I figured out what to do with it
