I’m still waiting for the battery swaps that were promised *checks notes* 7 years ago

Pretty much everyone has admitted Bangle was right, his designs have not only been copied but have stood the test of time in regards to BMWs. E90s & E60s still look fresh today. Pretty much everything during his flame design look modern today.

Everyone ripped on the e60 5 series when it came out, but it’s proven to be a trend setter and has oddly aged really well (I still prefer the e39 myself, but I really appreciate the e60). Especially on the interior. Minus the archaic iDrive unit, the cabin is pretty similar to what’s being done currently.

I physically recoiled seeing both the exterior and interior.  Having spent the past weekend driving near an M2 comp....what a leap in the wrong direction

Adrian van Hooydonk makes Chris Bangle look like Michelangelo

Reminds me of a pickup truck. Or this monstrosity.

$55k is not a ton less than the $59k an M2 competition costs either. That car makes more power than the Supra, is more practical and can be had with a stick.

Bold!  But not wrong. The back end really bugs me.  It’s all huge and square for reasons.  Seems like GM prioritized the fit of golf bags in the trunk over aesthetics.

Because the Z will be on a platform that predates the Pleistocene?

The Supra’s biggest problem is not the Z4 or any Nissan, it’s the 2-Series. The M240i has the identical powertrain and very similar suspension for less money. I feel like Toyota is charging extra for nostalgia, and that’s hurting the car.

If I had a $55,000 budget for a toy, it would be very tempting to splurge another $10,000 or so to get a C8 Corvette that will run circles around the Supra.

I fixed it for you.

Perhaps they want a car some time in the next two years?

Most of the lead marshals have multiple years of race experience. I’ve been the lead intervention marshal at USGP and Mexico GP and have over a decade of experience including being employed by Texas Motor Speedway before nascar went to a traveling crew. I usually do at least 2 if not 3 GPs a year. This year I’ve done z

The more I learn about F1, the more it seems like a billion-dollar clownshow.

100% agree. Each turn should have a professional lead marshall to oversee and direct the volunteers and communicate with head marshalls

I’ll take mine in Knight black, with Goldblum trim. Dern it. Or, would that B.D. Wong choice?

A T-Rex eating a Velociraptor is technically not cannibalism because they aren’t the same species.

In my neighborhood there is a Morgan 3-wheeler, a Polaris Slingshot, and a Vanderhall running around driven by locals, and I have to admit, I really like the Vanderhall. I know it doesn’t have a manual, and it’s fwd (although in a 3 wheeler this is probably a better setup), but it looks great, is properly quick and
