All that work and no manual? Bah.

Agreed! I love everything about it - except the fact that I’d hate to get that interior dirty. I needs to be able to accept all manner of sand and dirt and salt water and mud to do proper duty. And, like you said, I’m sure they’d be more than willing to oblige given how custom these trucks seem to be.

It rained during the test, so none were taken.

It will have bags on race day.

Gorgeous. I’d have mine with a little more rugged interior (quilted leather tailgate, really?) but I’m sure that were I their customer they’d be happy to oblige me. It looks very nicely executed, with a coherent design theme that doesn’t completely overwhelm the original character of the car. It’s maybe a little too

So, two questions:

Missed the Photo where the Knee is Down?

There is a new class of racing for baggers. This bike is built for that class. It’s weird, and I love it.

So I wrote a rage post over at Oppo.

hey just wanted to say i love you jason and also, subsequently, fuck the haters·

i updated my bookmark to jalopnik.com/latest

Those interior images are not renders. They may be retouched to make the colors pop and the background look interesting, but I sat in the exact car that they used for the photos.

I must be the only person around that adores this car. It’s beautiful and a HUGE turn around for Maserati as of late. I haven’t lusted after a Maser in decades, and never thought I would again... but here we are.

We’ll change the convo when you guys get your reliability straight. Until then...

It is kinda funny you can buy super-expensive carbon-fibre “door handle cover plates” to accentuate just how mis-aligned those popper-door-pulls are on a Model X.  Even with the Brand Name “TESLA” proudly displayed...

I like when you can find panel gap and alignment issues on official Tesla photos.

It’s also not trail rated.

Good for sticking to your guns.  Color, engine, and transmission choices are 3 things I won’t budge on.

I think it looks fantastic, but now I have no reason to buy it when I could buy so many other cars that have an automatic. I was one of the few people who tried to buy a previous generation with a manual, and I had only one condition, I didn’t want another black car. The only two manuals in the system were both black,

Bradley, I’m psyched for this car, but at one point in the article you say it is V8 engined and later you say it has a V6. Which is it? Can one choose between them?
