I think big power and long range are the headlines needed to get people interested, but ultimately the affordable EVs with 100-150 miles of range and 110 horsepower will be the big sellers.

Even in the 1960s when Dodge was dragging people into showrooms with Hemis and 440 six packs, it was the slant six Polaras that

I’m pretty much whatever on the Mach-E, but I’m really hoping they’ll realize killing all their other cars was a bad idea and do an EV Mustang. If they’re willing to put a 4-cyl Stang into production these days and make it a worthy car they're at least trying, that gives me just a lil bit of hope.

First, I love this. Monster Energy-chugging Cars & Coffee dude-bros will hate on it endlessly for not being a gas-guzzler, but I guarantee none of them can do a quarter mile in the low eights. Even Chevy’s E-COPO isn’t this fast.

My new trillionaire fantasy is going to Mitsubishi and being like “call anyone who worked on the Pajero Dakar program 20 years ago and build me a singular brand-new street-legal SUV with a hilarious engine/transmission combo. Here’s two million bucks to get the ball rolling.”

Holy shit, all the talk of the sound being such a big part of racing that electric would ruin is just not true.

Good question. And- an opportunity for durability testing. MOAR RALLY CROSS!!

I feel like rally cross is an area where electric could really shine. Short races and a need for a lot of power and torque. With the batteries mounted low in the chassis and the ability to vector torque to the drive train even more specifically, I could enjoy that even more than I do now.

(looks at bank account) damn! Im only 3,899,000 short! Wonder if theres a discount code.

Damn Jason, quick with the graphics

See Lincoln Navigator. I’ve seen a few rolling around and those are pricy

Yeaaaaahhuuuuuuuhhhhhhhnoooooooooooooo.

$100k is most likely the fully loaded model.

Interior: A+++

I just dunno. Checks off a lot of my “like” buttons. That’s good.

I’m really on the fence, though I voted NP. This is about what I paid for my current Wagon five years ago, similar mileage, and a year younger. FWIW the Passat wagon in general is the only VW I’ve seriously considered.

No idea what the values on these are, but I do like them. I don’t want to own one but I like that it exists.

I just sold my stock 2000 M with 56K miles for 14.4K$.

Wow. 270 HP. Plus, look at all the cool houses this car is capable of parking in front of. The regular non-Dinan 240 HP car would never be allowed anywhere near that neighborhood. /s

It’s not really an obsession but a preference. You’re not obsessed if you prefer watching a good movie on a large 4k tv with surround sound vs watching it on an old tube tv. It doesn’t stop the movie from being good, but one experience is still significantly better than the other.
