I think as others have suspected we’re getting a kingdom come story with a younger Superman where The world is filled with brash aggressive superheroes and even worse villains. Superman who still finding his place among these heroes then finds the courage to be the inspiration for good hence the legacy tag or former

Just like Man of Steel... the secret to new Kryptonian life is locked in his jeans.

That’s the problem with movies today. They’re looking for things that they know people like and giving them that instead of trying to make things that are good that people don’t yet know that they’ll like. Spiderverse didn’t need people to already love Miles because it made them love Miles by being good. Make a great

You slap Batman on anything and it’s already a “A” list show/movie regardless of what character is under the mask. Also given Terry’s 25 years of fandom he will generate a lot of buzz.

I love Batman Beyond.

But I do wonder how much mainstream recognition it really has and whether or not that would hurt its box office.

Sadly that’s just not how major movie studios work these days.
Even if they already own the IP, and it’s something fans are absolutely clamoring for, they’ve got a roadmap that was decided years in advance by corporate bean-counters, and it’ll be at least another 3-4 years of grinding the DCEU into the dust with shit

If I saw David Zaslav trip and fall into a woodchipper I’d rush over...
...to make sure no one helped him get out.

Well the bright side to this is, at least they were trying to get one made and not that there was a batman beyond movie already made that got cancelled

Even if by chance, it gets green lit, goes into production, is completed, and promoted —- I’d still be worried because Davis Zaslav is right there to kill hope.

Get Michael Keaton as Old Man Bruce Wayne, and cast the original voice actor for Terry McGinnis.  Problems solved.

Looking at those images, I have to assume the pitch was, “Like Spider-Verse, but with Batman.” Genuinely shocked that didn’t get a greenlight, or at least make its way farther up the chain. Given DCAU projects are still highly regarded, I would think there’s money to be made here.

I believe the 3 best batman films are animated:

Have the original voice actor Friedle play old man Batman.

Like I said... it’s classy tits.

I go back on forth on whether I am sympathetic to Nyxley or not. I do think she has legitimate grievances, but she can get pretty murder-y

I wouldn’t mind a bad season, it can happen to every show, but this is the last one! And it is so frustrating.
First of all, I am tired of poor written/developed characters consuming time from Supergirl, a show that used to be about Supergirl.
Is it Melissa’s maternity leave? Has Melissa got tired and demanded less

And Lord knows that SISTER HYDE is better than than Hammer’s “straight” Jekyll/Hyde adaptation, THE TWO FACES OF DR. JEKYLL, which is absolutely tedious. I have a great weakness for old Hammer flicks, but I even I couldn’t get all the way through that one . . . .

“Prehistoric Women” has lots of problems, include a dull-as-dirt leading man who drags everything down, and a few too many “tribal dance” sequences to pad things out, but Beswick is amazing in it.

She really throws herself into the role and pretty much devours the entire movie. I can only imagine how much fun she must

Dr. Jekyll and Sister Hyde is unquestionably the fine malt whiskey of sexploitation flicks. Or possibly a sipping liquor of some variety.

Martine Beswick as Sister Hyde since she has so much fun with the role in this outrageous version of the Jekyll-Hyde story. Plus she was in Hammer’s “Prehistoric Women” another Hammer favorite of mine from the mid-1960’s
