Loved that show, too. Comedy Central should NOT have canceled that.

I tried Brickleberry on Comedy Central for a few episodes, didn’t like it (and apparently, neither did Coedy Central), so I don’t think I’d like Paradise PD.

If these movies tried to scare audiences away from allowing these dystopian futures from happening, then they did their jobs.

I know SOMEBODY in Russia now who wishes the still USSR exists.

Yeah, bring zombies back to their necromantic roots! I’d watch that movie.

Now playing

Oh, I’m so giving this to Dr. Jekyll and Sister Hyde. The Production value, the mood, the atmosphere, the acting, and Martine Beswick (meow)! The clip from that movie in the article’s body is gone, but I found this on DailyMotion:

Mertine Beswick (meow). I rank her up there with Raquel Welch and Caroline Munro.

I happened to see it on TCM Underground (their late Friday night movie slot for more...unorthodox fare), years after reading this article stuck its title in my head, in all its uncensored glory!

I wouldn’t call anything from Hammer “sexploitation”, because they actually have good writing, excellent atmosphere, actors who can ACT, and very high production value (compared to other sci-fi/horror producing studios).

And THAT’S why I consider “The Venture Brothers” to be better than “Rick & Morty”: VB got Conroy in one episode, and Mark Hamill in another.

I thought we did, in Falcon & Winter Soldier’s 2nd episode, when John Walker debuts as the new Captain America, and his old high school’s marching band’s playing the song..

Because the Martian make-up is expensive and time-consuming to put on and take off.

  • If it wasn’t possible before now to agree with what’s being said but still zone out from HOW it’s delivered, I found a way. I heard all of this last year on the news, and I’m thinking “Yeah, I get it, now suit up and hit something! This is a superhero show, not Award-Bait Prestige Drama.”

Orland and Joey are also aliens, right? Aliens with powers?  I almost forgot that, and this show seems to totally forget they are.

I thought Supergirl being stuck in the Phantom Zone AND the gap between season halves WAS the maternity leave. Also, as I’m typing this, I’m watching Melissa Benoist on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and she just said her son is 14 months old now. How long ago did they record this show?!

I don’t really sympathize with Nyxly. Sure, she tried to overthrow her dad, and got sent to The Phantom Zone(s) for her trouble, but would she have been a better ruler of the 5th Dimension? Hell, most times in our OWN dimension, governments get overthrown more often than not by someone WORSE!

Dig didn’t appear on Black Lightning? Wow, wasted opportunity! Feels like the first place for him to go on his After-Arrow world tour.

If Dig does a guest spot on Stargirl, which I thought is on another universe, that would be impressive.

She was on Merlin? The show that had John Hurt voice a talking dragon? How did I forget that?!

I don’t remember that happening, but I forget a lot of what happens in these shows after watching them, because UUUUUUGGGGGHHHHHH there’s so much to catch up on! If Lex didn’t needle Brainiac-5 with comparisons to his more infamous, villainous forebear, BRAINIAC-1, he should have. It just feels very “Lex”, doesn’t it?
