I don’t know, the Xbox controllers are typically the standard for controllers, and they have always been off center.

It does? How? The most significant difference is only that the right analog stick and face buttons are flipped, and IMO the Wii U Pro Controller’s layout is more comfortable if you play games that primarily use the d-pad for input.

I’m afraid to say the market has spoken on that score, and that they want the off-center sticks. Nintendo is merely caving to demand on that one.

It’s a little weird to come across this stuff, but my attitude is live and let live. It’s not hurting me and there are way weirder, more harmful things people can get up to in life. People have urges by nature, and this is a harmless outlet for them.
