@Dark_Mirage: You're right, sorry about that folks. I sometimes forget myself. Devs and non-devs read this site, I just got to keep my comments within that common ground...sometimes I feel that Ashcraft is writing directly to me...to my soul...it's an claustrophobic feeling, yet warm and comforting. :)

@Sakilla: **edit** Aww forget it.

@Shabadage: The last project I worked on, our engine programmer setup the PSP pipeline from our PS3 pipeline in about a week. Sorry to burst your bubble.

OMG that thing has all black eyes!!! Someone must stop Marianne!

How is this news? Developers usually have multiple pipelines running different hardware now-a-days, especially when it comes to console to portable hardware. Usually it's a console—>windows pipelines, because windows is easier to debug on...but in recent generations having your game run on say the PS3 and PSP is only

Well, looks pretty, but will the gameplay hold up? If it's anything like Odin Sphere, I'll probably rent it. I bought that game with high hopes, but it turned out to be a pretty lackluster gameplay experience. Hopefully more previews will show off a deeper gameplay experience.

@pandafresh: I know it's not an easter egg, but do you really think devs are going to be able to put in any type of "easter-egg" data into games now? I don't think so. Any content that goes into games has to be approved now, for fear of lawsuits like this one...which defeats the whole purpose of an easter-egg.

*sigh*...thus the end of Easter-eggs in games has come to full fruition.

@LedRush: Oh LedRush, your whole world is about to get jolted. Good luck with the trauma. haha!

@Luke Plunkett: Getting sick? Welcome to the game industry...you must be new. I got sick of pre-rendered trailers about 10 years ago.

I love the art style already...the painted background with pixel characters look great together!

I'm not a tester, but I do work in the game industry on the creative side of things. I got to say, $9/hr isn't enough for what these guys have to go through. The patience to sit there and play the game over and over and over and over again, then having to talk to disgruntled coders about the bugs they find...I just

I don't agree with the Romero comment, since I'm pretty sure Samwise can't code an entire game himself...but you get points for the effort.

@metallicorphan: Haha, I'd love to see how long you last in a room full of sistahz talking that trash. OH NO U DIT'NT!!!!

@deadpanwalking: They do, it's called the Ninja perk. Combine that with the Shishkabab melee weapon and you ARE a martial artist kung-samurai sword chopping badass!

@opt2not: Oops, that's supposed to say Dad & Me, the flash game.

@SaanZ: Have you watched MTV's Downtown? It's great hand-drawn animation and has that retro Fat Albert influenced style.

@BubbleF**kingBuddy: What about Don Hertzfeldt? He's still young, and his films are awesome! Or Adam Phillips of Bitey Castle animations? Great web animation done in flash. Or Dan Paladin of his Castle Crashers, Alien Hominid, Dan & Me?

@Jorw: So because there's text, it's lazy art? So all the final fantasy games are lazy art as well?
