I’ve watched a few of these and love the technical discussion, though I always feel like his hatred of the “parts bin” is a bit too idealistic maybe, in that he acts like it’s just laziness and money that drives parts bin engineering when there are as many reasons for it as there are against.

Some of the language is questionable but... He’s 100% correct and your attempt to say he’s an asshole actually made me like him more.

I think the main source of hate might be that he’s a comedian who a lot of people think sucks at being a comedian. Also, he’s dumb as hell.

I believe the warranty starts when the car is sold. Also, I assumed “zero miles” is a shorthand way to say the cars haven’t been driven. I wouldn’t expect the salesperson to go around to all 16 cars with pen and paper and report back to me. “One car has 7 miles, one car has 10 miles, one car has 11 miles.....”
