It’s not that it’s a scam. It’s that it’s about FARMING PRACTICES, not about healthier foods. It is the organic farming practices that are the reason for the difference in labels.

While I appreciate the idea of this, there seems to be some odd information thrown in here. For example, some of the brands seem to be owned by smaller companies - not giant conglomerates. 6.1million in sales per year isn’t actually that huge of a market. Also, there was at least one (Green Mountain) that isn’t…
I’ll vouch for Toyota. My 2004 RAV4 has only recently needed very minor repairs (replaced a couple of seals), still purring like a kitten after 187,000 miles. Change the oil, get all the scheduled maintenance, replace expendables like tires and fluids when you’re supposed to, and it just keeps on running. They can…
Based on 1 experience with 1 car It will be difficult for me not to buy another Mazda.
Great topic. I think it’s ridiculous that I can’t so much as run into a post-office for stamps without shlepping two children along with me, but I have this perception that there are so many busy-bodies out there that would call 911 as soon as I locked the door that I feel like it’s better to just err on the side of…
I regularly will run into 7/11 to grab something and leave the kids in the car as unbuckling all 3 and then getting them back in would take much longer than sprinting in, grabbing what I need and come back to the car, while they are safely parked right infront of the store, which I can see the entire time. I still…
According to Taco Bell, a basic taco weighs about 80 grams. Assuming half of that is the beef, that’s about 1.5 ounces of beef per taco. In my area (Baltimore), Safeway lists basic 80/20 ground beef as $5.49/lb. So that comes out to about $0.52 worth of beef per taco. Not exactly an insane cost, there.
You realize that suit was ultimately found to be meritless, right? And that the actual number is 88 percent?
Sadly, that’s an old urban legend that has been soundly and repeatedly disproven.
They’ve gotten a lot better than they used to be as far as using real meat, the meat you get in a taco bell taco is 88% beef, the rest is basically just sugar, starch, and yeast, nothing excessively gross or horrible for you, not good for you but, not as bad as it could be.
The premium content seems a little skimpy for 10 bones a month. . .
Absolutely. Also, wrap your child in a tight cocoon of plastic wrap before going outside.
My kid is off the growth chart small and she didn’t fit rear facing by age 3. If this is from practical experience, how small was your child at age 4?
Actually, it’s age 2. AAP updated guidelines:
+1. I actually bubble wrap my kids everyday, because, you know, it is safer that way.
Agreed, I was probably in the front seat by 5 or 6. Now kids are just getting out of the car seats in time for their road test.
how exactly do they fit till that age?
