Got 'em already. See above for reasons as to why contacts > glasses for me, in my situation.

Yeah! 'Cause I don't pay taxes to help pay for other people's health issues caused by willful negligence (which is the only POSSIBLE explanation for why I clearly *choose* not to be able to afford a regular supply of contact lenses and solution). Mmmmmmyup.

Yeeees, judge the anonymous internet commenter who humorously implied she cares nothing for her eyes' well-being and willfully spends money on all sorts of frivolous things besides contact lens solution. There's definitely no way she has other, more important expenses for OTHER health care or well-being costs in her

I work with a legally blind woman; my future in food service is limitless! All my dreams can come true! And don't worry, I'm sure the government will tax MANY people equally minuscule amounts in order to carry my singular, enormous health issue burden, not take it all out on you. :)

Do you suspect, as I do, that much of the hype surrounding lens-wearing is overplayed because somebody out there wants to make sure they're making consistent money? Like many things in the world.

Not that there ISN'T real risks, not saying that at all. Simply over-exaggerated.

But taking them out at night isn't free...? Solution to store them in costs money. That's the main factor, joking aside. Laziness is a close second.

Yep. Good thing that's my problem, eh? :)

Wait, they make overnight kinds?! If I switch to those, I might feel less guilty! I have the monthly disposables. You're s'posed to take them out and clean them every night but I don't. What brand are yours?

Yeah, no, I don't take them out. Unless something gets under the contact and irritates my eye. I used to get the dry eyes too, but my eyes eventually adjusted. I sleep just fine with them in now. It even used to make my eyes kinda sore. No longer! Do not follow my lead. ;/

Nooo. No. I should. I KNOW, I should. But I don't. The solution is expensive too, and I'm lazy.

I do have glasses. :D Just, I dunno, working food service, it's much easier to have contacts in every day than deal with glasses. I can't push them up if they slide down, or wipe them off, unless I have time to also immediately wash my hands after, and when you're in the middle of a dinner rush in a kitchen...it's

NOPE, refuse to listen to this cautionary tale. I keep mine in for months at a time as well. Just had an eye checkup and doc said my eyes are just fine. I may be negligent, but I'm really fuckin' clean too.

Okay, I'm still pretty scared now but you know what? I WON'T LET FEAR DRIVE ME TO SPEND MONEY I DON'T HAVE! POWER

Yeah, so. I didn't read the headline entirely. I got to the bottom of the post, about to submit a reply that said: "Wow, it's really awesome to see so many black celebrities being represented at one of these award ceremonies! We're making progress!"

...Yeah. BET Awards. Good thing I didn't submit that reply, eh? -_-

I'm guessing that the game will mostly draw either diehards that want to know more about Handsome Jack's past, which this game goes into, or people who haven't played too much of the franchise

Fuck the meat! Tell me about those plates. Those are fuckin' cool plates.

As a teen, my mom bought me my first 13" TV-DVD-player combo for a wheelin' STEAL of a deal. At Albertson's.

Yeah, I...I need to be alone for a little while now.

The weird thing for me is that I've never felt attracted to a flamboyantly gay man before. Now I am. What—how do I—

I'm an escapist! FANTASY WINS.

Whoo! Yeah, you're right. Got a little over-eager there anyway, compelled by the children's faces. I'm glad you came 'round. Sorry for trying to spark a flame in a pile of ashes.
