Have you read the summary of the script he did for The Flash? Made me glad we got the basic plot of s1 out of it instead of a movie.

I was reading the Kreisberg interview where he talks about the Jay/Barry/Wells mentor fight/"who should Barry trust" storyline and I'm like 'wow this would have been cool. But we didn't get it????'

I caught Superman Returns on tv the other day - I hadn't seen it since I first watched it in the theater - and it held up much better than I'd expected it to! Brandon Routh was a charming Superman, and the plot was iffy, but I enjoyed it. (Also it had a great flight scene.) Zack Snyder's grimdark Superman is ABYSMAL.

I think that's because it is a one-way deal? Supergirl is probably on Earth-3. I'm thinking Barry hops dimensions and ends up there on accident

I keep seeing Batman v Superman trailers and I'm like 'I'll stick to watching the fun TV shows, thanks." I'm a happy camper with their TV adaptations but oh my god their movies have been terrible lately. The tone is all wrong.

It can also literally be two things because twins?

Or at least be like "have you tried this" or "I recommend this" instead of making the changes for them

Cisco becoming the new Felicity means that he gets to be Barry's love interest and have sex with him, right? Because Cisco remains the best love interest for Barry right now.

I actually liked the somber tone of this episode. I mean, it was, er, dampened a bit by we know that Jay Garrick is actually suspicious as hell, but it worked. Barry and Cisco and Caitlin - those poor depressed kids. I was surprised at how well the 'Barry tells Joe and Iris about Earth-2' scene went. Nothing weird

I laughed through the entirety of Cold Shower - the take off/homage to Ya Got Trouble, what with its refrain of crack crack crack and having the pool be an actual filled-with-water pool as opposed to billiards pool.

I know that?

Lots of lube is the optimal solution for everyone here.

Jesus Christ. Why. Man of Steel felt like a slog and this is going to be LONGER than that? Who keeps hiring Zac Snyder to fuck up the DC movies?

Jane comparing her first sexual encounter to "ripping a bandaid off" had me going THOSE AREN'T THE WORDS I'D USE, JANE. Ow. (Because hey, not everyone bleeds and the whole 'it hurts no matter what' thing also isn't true)

Loved all the shojo sparkles and the effective use of pink tint. Rogelio's #firstmalefeminist stuff was HILARIOUS(ly bad) of course. Jane suddenly crying and feeling weird re: sex felt too real. (In a good way.) Alba's own sexual experience was a (happy) surprise and I'm continually happy how this show treats Jane and

I can't be the only person who went AND THE AMERICAN WAY right after James said that Supergirl stood for truth and justice.

I think the line about "masks only being big in the other city" was talking about Gotham City. (Like Batman, not like the tv show Gotham.) I feel like Supergirl is on Earth-3 or something.

Masked Man: *mmph mmph mmph mmmmmph mph mph mmph mmph* (Don't let him be such a herooooo….because he's not rescuing me?)
