Awesome technology, but what happens if a pilot stays unconscious?!? You seemingly have a jet flying without a driver.

Now I see where people come from when they say one of the reasons it was chosen by brass was because it looked more similar to the F-15 than the YF-23 did.
Right down the road at Oceania.....
Pretty sure the Super Hornet will get the nod.
Have they yet to use their MiG for DACT?
They are, but it's pretty close.....
"2,300 sorties flown in just 48 days." They have the benefit of much shorter sorties. Up until recently, coalition forces were hours away. Now that Turkey has opened up, I think you will see the sortie numbers increase for the US as well.
The mis-conception of today’s Guard/Reserves has too many thinking this way. Many Guard/Reserve units train at the same tempo that AD units do. And many of them have AD personnel mixed in. And to use the term "militia" for todays' use of Grd/Res forces and how much they deploy is off base.
I still long for the YF-23!
You do realize that many of todays National Guard units, fly daily and have an ops tempo in line with AD units. And than many Guard units are inter-mixed with AD personnel. It’s not as if these F-22’s are only flying on the weekend....... They are receiving training on par with F-22 units at AD locations.
