Yeah, I would agree. The cast departures (Ali Wong was leaving after this season too), and substitutions just didnt work. I think the writers knew too.

I never watched any of those shows, but I was curious if anyone would attribute the end of Housewife to Julia Butters leaving now that she’s been in a Best Picture nominee. Housewife was totally out of steam at this point, as much as I like Mixon and Bader; it just became stale in spite of, or because of, the minor retoolings and cast departures.
