I agree. I think the Invictus Games is definitely non-profit work. He has skills with working with diverse audiences and mass media work (speaking). 

Almost any non-profit would be happy to have him on the board because it’ll bring in MONEY for PROGRAMS, which is kind of what high-profile employees/board members are supposed to do. That charity scored big. Good for them.

Also, Chief Impact Officer is unquestionably a job title that has existed before Harry took this job. It’s more common in start-ups and charities - for example, United Way is currently hiring for that position at one of their subsidiaries.
