After all the frustrations I’ve had with the handling of this series from a production standpoint, it’s wonderfully cathartic to watch Orlando burn this thing to the ground.

I think the parents would love the kid to get sued. You can really only grant a judgement that can be paid which is far less than the price of the damage. The little kid has at least 2 years before he is any good at child labor.
I think homeowner policies in the US come with some general liability coverage. At least that’s what my dad used to yell about when teenage me did teenaging.
“But if I can’t exploit my workers then I’ll have to get a real job as an exploited worker!”
I had a Felicity and a Samantha.
What the Execs think I’ll do: Legends of the Hidden Temple !?!? That’s awesome. I loved that show. I need to sign up for Quibi!
“Luckily for me, a cat parent, my feline child would never accompany me to a dealership if I ever went to one...”
Pity that the people getting the wage increase are going to jealously horde every penny and drive to other states to spend it all. All those wages, lost because mean ol’ workers will refuse to spend any of their income in the area they work and live.
Mattel didn’t understand that the historical stories were a large part of the attraction of the dolls.
Already a thing - it was trendy for a while, but still present. I’ve seen a note on a menu that more or less said “We pride ourselves on providing a living wage and health benefits to our employees. Tipping is not encouraged nor required.”

Right - these businesses aren’t closing because of an increase in minimum wage, they are closing because they don’t want to make the necessary changes to their business in order to compensate for the increase. Cost of living increases over time, so any employer should expect an increase in the minimum wage over time…
my permanent motto for this is simple:
Everybody deserves a living wage. But
I think I would have had WAY less problem with Bran being the King (after all, he made about as much sense as anyone else did at that point), if they’d just not had Tyrion be like “Who has a more interesting story than Bran the Broken?” Literally everyone in the show, dude. Ros, the sex worker who went from Winterfell…
Hot take: as a business owner, if you arent complaining about the skyrocketing rent, but are closing because you will have to pay your employees a fair wage finally, you arent a great business owner to begin with. If 40K more a year is causing you to close, how successful was your business to begin with. Thats a…
If everyone is making $20 an hour, then they can afford to raise their menu prices to cover the hike because more people will be able to afford to eat out.
This time the contestants- FIGHT BACK. What are the Temple Guards gonna do with an unexpected roundhouse kick to the face?
It takes a lot of grain and a lot of effort to make oat milk; the same concept (large quantities of grains/nuts, large amounts of water, lengthy processing time) applies to all faux milks.
In other news. 4 dollar stores in Oklahoma City to move to new locations.
