I’ve always been under the impression that if it’s picking up poppy seeds the test is much too sensitive because it takes a shit ton of poppy seeds to test positive on a drug test.

I’m guessing that it’s needed because of the medical procedures they are doing. I’d expect that it’s necessary when doing anesthesia or giving specific drugs so that they don’t injure the patient.

The issue here I’m guessing is the levels that they are testing and that they’re treating a very low amount as positive.
