I think they will need to leave the comfortable blue cities they live in.  They will find jobs in places like Mississippi or Oklahoma.

My SIL doesn’t eat meat, grains, white sugar or dairy and somehow I’m the odd one because I don’t eat broccoli or fish (I grew up poor in Oklahoma, people who grow up poor in landlocked states don’t eat fish).
