Never saw the youtube channel and probably won’t seek it out, but the show grew on me.

Yeah, I enjoyed it too. I guess that puts us in an extreme minority on the AV Club. And I enjoyed seeing how the characters became more sympathetic up through the second season. But oh well, it ended at a good point with something like a happily-ever-after.
