I remember the first playthrough, coming out... I literally dropped my 360 controller. It was just magnificent. I genuinely can’t remember being in total awe of a game the way I was at that moment.

One of the most common excuses I hear from people who preorder is that they like being able to go to the store and put down $5 here, $5 there... drop a little bit of money from their paycheque here and there as they see fit. I very strongly disagree. I feel this year was a HUGE year. From Fallout 4 and Doom gameplay to Mirror’s Edge Catalyst and 90% of what Sony showed (new MM game, two new Guerrilla games, and obviously, TLG, FFVII remake, and Shenmue 3, among other things), I felt that it was a pretty damn good year. I go Xcom and rename every character. I went with marvel characters secret identities. I have a Zebediah Killgrave and he’s my vault impregnator. He is either in the barracks helping repopulate or in the bar working on his charisma to keep those pheromones strong. And I have McCoy, Pym, Richards, Connors and Banner…

I will never understand why Android is “second fiddle” to iOS in terms of big game developers. Every gamer I know shuns Apple products religiously (and a little ridiculously). Hell, I feel like most tech-savvy people do. I feel like the bulk of Apple users don’t even know what Fallout is (the game OR the concept).

I think RTS, especially of the such as Total War would look great. If you’ve ever played a tabletop miniature game like Warhammer, imagine having an ultradetailed army and scenario table through holograms?

This is the straw that broke the camels back. I’m officially hyped. I tried very hard not to get overly excited so I don’t get disappointed by the final product, but now I don’t even care. This game is going to kick ass.
